<text>The "Pilgrims Meet the Pope", is the 6th canvas in the series of the "Stories from the Line of St Ursula". In this scene you can see the retinue of virgins approaching on a long pathway. The English Prince and Ursula are kneeling in front of Pope Cyriacus. This scene shows an enormous stage that catches every little detail like, the time of day, the shadows, and the weather. In the canvas, you see this event is taking place in the afternoon. The dating of this canvas is argued upon many scholars because they don't agree. </text>
